Easter Day vs. Kwanza

We had a great Easter day.  The kids had matching outfits even.  I don't know how long they will let me dress them alike, but for now I'm going to have at it.  We asked the kids what the meaning of Easter is.  We had this great conversation about Easter and Jesus and what the meaning of it all is.  So then Sam says, "Well if that is the meaning of Easter, what is the meaning of Kwanza?"  I've been asking myself that question for years, son.

That's funny. I also have no answer to the Kwanza question.

I've been meaning to respond to your last email. So, so lazy, I know. But I'll get around to it. Really, I should just phone - oh wait, I'm not sure I have your number.

you should come visit up here. Please!!

You guys look so cute. I love green on your fam. Tell Sam he needs to watch the Christmas special of "Elmo's World" and it'll tell him the meaning of Kwanza.

Love Maren's headband.

How cute are ya'll. I love the green.

Kwanzaa is a week-long African American holiday honoring African heritage, marked by participants lighting a kinara (candle holder). It is observed from December 26 to January 1 each year, primarily in the United States.

You're welcome. Happy Easter.

p.s. Tell Janine you're coming to TN first.

k - gotta get back to packing. I told Tadd I needed you here today. This stinks.

clearly my sarcasim did not come through on this post. You know I really don't give a rip about Kwanza right? After all, it is just a made up holiday.
