We finally tore out the bad, bad hunter green marble on the fireplace and replaced it with brick. Tyler did a great job. It is almost finished. But here is what we have done so far.

New Fireplace!
We finally tore out the bad, bad hunter green marble on the fireplace and replaced it with brick. Tyler did a great job. It is almost finished. But here is what we have done so far.

how are the kids? I love your decorations - I really, really love that hanging pumpkin and cat thing. And that's saying a lot - you can ask Tyler my opinions on Hallowe'en. We again had fun with him - I hope, hope, hope you can come sometime, but if not, I'm still happy to see Tyler.
Great fireplace work too. I'm already making plans for him and James the next time he comes into town!!
Yeah....the hunter green was bad, but fortunately the rest of your house is darling so you didn't even notice the green. The brick looks awesome--tell Tyler good job!
Oh. My. I had forgotten just how beautiful that forest green marble was. I bet you miss it. :)
